Portions of the sequel to the `80s film will be shot at Monkey TempleRajasthani filmmaker KC Bokadia will soon start shooting the sequel to his 80s’ film Teri Meherbaniyan.

The sequel of the 1985 film, starring Jackie Shroff and Poonam Dhillon, will be released in a 3D version.

In the following years, the actor went on to star in cult films like Karz (1980), Arth (1982), Raaj Tilak (1984), Teri Meherbaniyan (1985) & Ek Naya Rishta (1988).

 

However, post the ‘80s, his career started to slow down & film offers kept diminishing.

 

By the late ‘90s, Raj Kiran was out of work as the film industry had moved ahead with time with younger & box office-friendly stars.

It includes some memorable scenes, including the actor’s intense dialogue delivery and moments with his on-screen pet dog, Brownie. The title song of the film plays in the background, sending fans on a nostalgic journey. “#39YearsOfTeriMeherbaniyan,” Jackie Shroff wrote in a message.
