Kamal Haasan and Rati Agnihotri are a memorable on-screen pair for their iconic movie ‘Ek Duuje Ke Liye’ which released in 1981. But did you know that while filming this love story, this duo never really bonded with each other. At that point in time, while Kamal was an established actor, Rati was a newcomer. Things got ugly further between them, when Rati passed a sly comment about Kamal in an interview.
Rati Agnihotri was born into a conservative Punjabi family on December 10, 1960, in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly. From an early age, she had a strong interest in acting and modelling. At the age of 10, she started picking up modelling assignments, and at the mere age of 19, she made her acting debut in the Tamil film industry. The stunning actress was seen in the film, Puthiya Vaarpugal, which kick-started her journey as an actress.
He said, “I don’t know why people keep saying that my parents have been separated. I need to set the record straight. My parents are not separated. They had marital issues back in 2015-2016, so they were briefly separated during that period, but ever since then, we have mended the fence, and they are fine now.
