IMDb, the world’s most popular and authoritative source for information on movies, TV shows, and celebrities, presented an IMDb “Breakout Star” STARmeter Award to Khauf star Monika Panwar. The award recognizes strong performers on the Popular Indian Celebrities list published every Monday on the IMDb app. The list charts the page views of the more than 250 million monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide, and has proven to be a keenly accurate predictor of stars who are about to have a breakthrough career moment.
Sabka Number Ayega (2020) fame Monika Panwar and acclaimed actor Rajat Kapoor will be seen next in horror-suspense series Khauf. The show, written and created by Smita Singh and directed by Pankaj Kumar and Surya Balakrishnan, will start streaming on Prime Video from April 18.
The series also features Abhishek Chauhan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Shilpa Shukla.
The trailer of Monika Panwar (Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega) and Rajat Kapoor starrer supernatural-horror series Khauf was released by the makers on Friday. The eight-part show has been written and created by Smita Singh, who was part of the writer’s room for Sacred Games (2018). The series has been directed by Pankaj Kumar and Surya Balakrishnan. It also features Abhishek Chauhan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Shilpa Shukla and Chum Darang.
